I like that much better than BMI, which we've outlawed in Arkansas.

1) play 17 top 50 RPI teams
2) Lose to 13 of them
3) NCAAt appearance

Wait did you guys actually think you were gonna get in?

Nah, we didn't deserve to get in. I do think we deserved it over certain teams that made it, though.

When you consider the seeding of some teams and some that got in, they've got a gripe. I'll give them that.

If you had beat UA do you think y'all would be in the big dance?

Yes. They couldn't survive the loss to SC with their loss against us.

which we've outlawed in Arkansas.

You ruined it.
It looks like that was a winning combination for NCST.
I was just talking the other day how it'd be better if we'd quit scheduling creampuffs in the 250+ RPI range and play like 10 OOC schools like UCLA, Indiana, North Carolina, Kansas, Duke, Syracuse etc for a tier 1 name opponent. Then 4 or 5 tier 2's like Maryland, Boston College, St. John's, Baylor, Oklahoma St., Michigan, Villanova, Seton Hall, Arizona, Gonazaga etc. and then some teams from BCS conferences that have name value like Minnesota, Kansas St., Texas, Cal, Stanford, Penn St., Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, etc.
It doesn't seem to matter that much if you lose to them or not when playing a sub 100 RPI drops you regardless of outcome of the game.

based on the seedlings and who got in I don't think we make it even if we beat USC then lose to Tenn.

Nope, we didn't take care of business. When you don't win your must wins you take the teeth out of the argument for the persons trying to get you in.
I don't think Oklahoma St., BYU, Iowa, or NCST were tourney teams at all though.

Apparently it depends on who you are. Kentucky had the #5 SOS. St. Louis got a better seed than us by quite a bit and didn't even win their conference tournament. They didn't beat a currently ranked team all season.
