ESPN doesn't pick the tournament, nor does it televise it, other than those Dayton play in games.
My question basically is asking if anyone else will make the tournament. The real one.
Tennessee, according to the folks in this thread, seems to be the one other school on the good side of the fence. My question has been answered.
To add: It really sucks that the SEC may only get 3 teams of 14 in the NCAA tournament.
