The 2014 Dawgrant Rib-off: Enrollment Closed..................

Edit/Update: No longer just deeprig9 vs. Christopher. Open enrollment to all. Pork ribs only though.

Both of these posters like to blog, Live on dawgrant....... and both claim superiority when it comes to smoking pig. So, why not we have you two settle this like gentlemen instead of fricking around???

The process works like this: We pick a date, and assign parameters. The rest is up to you. Post pics, comments, info, etc along the way throughout the smoking process, and at a designated time……………..The patrons of dawgrant will vote on which one of you is more competent at your craft.


THe best man wins. Rib-off motherfrickers.

I suggest this thread stay open for all contenders to be judged on Talladega Sunday, May 4, 2014

Cooking can be done on a charcoal, wood fired, electric, wood pellet, or propane cooker of any design.

Parameters: Meat cooked outside under the sky. Every dawgranter gets a vote.....and can cast it for a cook based on whatever reason they see fit. Alapaha buys a giant trophy to be shipped to the winner.

Got the date. Having it in conjunction with the Talladega race is a good idea.
