A win over UK would give us 20 wins and, IMO, should be enough for an at-large bid. If we lose in the finals to IF (or UT), then that would put us at 20-13, which is pretty solid considering our absolutely shitty start to the season.

That's a big IF; Kentucky has dominated us in our 2 regular season meetings. Seems like we just don't match up well with their talent. Regardless, the strong season finish leaves me feeling good about Fox's ability to coach. If the guy could recruit at an equal level, I could see his teams becoming consistent contenders.

We only played Kentucky once this year, but yes they did dominate. We didn't have Gaines that day and were within 8 points with 12 minutes left.

Their big guys are gonna be tough to defend. We are 7 point underdogs today.

I know I've been annoying everybody with this talk, but if we win I think we've got a shot at an at large bid (somewhat small shot). RPI is 66 today, with a win we'd be around 58.

You're not annoying me. I just have no idea about RPI's and such. I'm thinking we have no shot unless we win the SEC tourney. Since florida does not appear capable of even coming close to losing to another SEC team, that makes me figure we are NIT bound.

Hope we beat Kentucky, though, and I hope you're right.
