It wouldn't be a good hire. He's really not a bad x's and o's (defensively) coach but he'll run off most of his talent because he is such a massive douche.

Lsu fans want him back when the team loses. But they make outlandish comments all the time.

People have a negative view of him, but I dare say he outperform any and all expectations the fanbase had for such an unheralded hire out of Samford.

If he doesn't hire a good recruiter you're doomed. He has done nothing at Arky State, and did nothing before LSU too. I'd say he's a poor man's Anthony Grant.

This much I will agree with, he did better than expected but a huge, huge part of that was to the local talent which happened to get really damn good at times during his stint here being recruited by Butch Pierre. Butch Pierre continues to steal LA kids even at Okie State now.

If you have players like Stromile Swift, Brandon Bass, Glen Davis, Tyrus Thomas, and Darryl Mitchell, you'll be fine.
Does Auburn have players like that?
Can you get them?
Louisiana has really good basketball talent and Brady hired the guys that kept some of them in state for a while. It paid off.
Alabama high school basketball talent is generally awful these days, though. Not sure that Brady can change that.

The amount of in-state talent Brady got at once was unfair...
He had:
Garrett Temple, Brandon Bass, Darrel Mitchell, Big Baby and Tyrus Thomas all on the same team
