We weren't going to do any damage in the NCAA's, but we should get two home W's in the NIT and get some actual tourney experience instead of getting embarrassed by another Bucknell.

I really think we'll turn the corner next year and make a decent run, hopefully sweet 16 or better.

I can't wait to see what a actual point guard looks like.

Yes it is. We aren't good enough to beat anyone making the NCAA's. I'd rather get the chance for the young guys to experience a few postseason games instead of one and done

Meh. Whatever, I'm sick of this shite. Not a damn program that is successful right now.

The way that we've played the last couple of games, I doubt there are many teams in the NIT we could beat.

I agree, one and done in the tournament against Dayton wouldn't have helped this team at all. If we can host the NIT and perhaps go to New York it will be better for our young team.

I agree, which is why the NIT is better for us b/c we'll get home games most likely and we should win two and get a little exposure and practice etc

I just never got emotionally involved with this team. I knew it wasn't going anywhere this year. We actually achieved greater success than I thought we would, but end result is NIT which is about where I thought we'd end up.

I agree with the above, NCAA or bust for MA next year

My goal when the season started was to make the post season. NCAA would have been awesome, but I'll take the NIT. Still an improvement.

Good point.

I'm fine with the nit- of course the big dance would have been great but I'm excited about any post season action after the last few years.

This thread is pathetic.

We just choked away the tournament most likely, to two awful teams.

And you're happy with the NIT.

I understand your point about the freshmen getting more playing time in the NIT, but a NCAA bid would've been better for us in the long run. Recruiting, etc..
