Did anyone here go to the game? I'd love to hear an eyewitness account.

I was at the game. I can vouch for it for you. I think that Pinkel put everyone in the position to prove themselves, which was great. The one who impressed me is Zanders. The true freshman is insanely fast. 80 yard run in 2 hand touch was just I can see him getting some playing time in certain situations. He might be a very key asset to us this season

As far as other stuff you guys care about, the attendance was really good, the fans looked happy and enjoyed their time, and the upper deck is looking sweet in person

Do you see Zanders being utilized at QB or in some kind of Percy Harvin hybrid role?

Some exciting news here,, IF Mauk has improved THAT much over last year I almost feel sorry for the poor bastards we are going up against.

With the absence of Wilson plus the injuries, Scherer, Singleton, are great names to hear.

Zanders possibly playing special teams as a true frosh!

Seems like things are finally in place for us to continue success off a good year and stop the roller coaster of good and bad seasons.

Does Mauk look like he's settled in any more? ie. not running backwards for 30 yards, going through progressions, etc.?

Watched some highlights.

Zanders looks mint. He's a special kind of fast.

Didn't see the game, but the highlights I've seen, when he does that 360 spin where he used to run backwards 30 yards and get sacked, he now does that 360 spin bur runs more parallel to the line. Have no idea how often he's done it in spring, but it stuck out to me that it could actually be effective if he just doesn't give up yardage at the same time.

I completely respect their desire to compete at the QB position, but oh how I'd love to see Hosick and Zanders switch positions. I think Zanders may very well be able to break the WR depth chart this year.

Zanders is a playmaker, have to figure a way to get him the ball with that kind of gamebreaker speed.

His run was against a bunch of walk ons, might want to calm down on Zanders.
