I think people who haven't seen Nate Brown yet are going to be pleasantly surprised, he will not come in a "year away", he will be ready to play now, he has that kind of skill/coaching/dedication coming in to college ball.

He's probably going to be more ready to play as a true frosh than DGB was, that's how good I believe he is.

I don't know that I would put much money on that.. look at the guys ahead of him, DGB, White, Hunt, Sasser and then you have some kids like Nate Brown that might well make the 2 deep as a freshman, I think a walkon at WR might be lucky to see the field until it's mop up time.

Odds are you're right. He is my long shot pick though if someone unexpected was to see some playing time. Charles Harris is up there too. They were just highlights, but the highlights showed Harris making some plays.

On top of that you got J"mon Moore, DeSean Blair, and Thomas Richard now in the mix at receiver, on another note the RB position is also going to be stacking up so we might see one of them sliding out to slot.

There was some speculation Kendall Blanton might move to DE as he would have a better shot of making the pro's on that side of the line, but we will see. If anymore DL injuries occur(Hoch's ankle is one) we might need him to, or he might anyway.

Didn't see it posted, it is official, Rivals #21 RB, **** Natereace Strong - MU commit

With Abbington coming in and Ryan Williams already onboard, you might think the RB recruiting for this class is almost over when the year has barely started.

247 has him the #14 RB:

This guy hasn't been talked about enough, he was almost going to play last year as a true freshman.

thanks, still getting used to this place, I've definitely hit that thread before, just forgot it I guess.

All these 4-5 star kids are making me nervous, shouldn't we be getting more 2 star NFL kids?

Matter article

Pretty good article. Ruise gave a pretty mature response to the DGB situation. Sounds like Brantley lost a lot of weight in the offseason due to sickness. Not sure from the article if he'll play inside or out or both. Good info on Sherrils. Kid weighed in at 190 and ran a 4.31 40. Damn. Got some speed to spare.

Has anyone read/seen anything on how Brandon Lee and Cheadle have been performing? Cheadle may have a hard time cracking the 2 deep but Lee was pretty heralded coming in at LB and was wondering how he's looked and whether he has a shot of playing as a true freshman given how we are a bit thin at LB.

I wouldn't expect Cheadle to play.

I have been wondering if Lee will get in the rotation since we're weak at LB.

Are there any stats for the QB's available?
