headed there for a golf trip in a couple weeks. Aside from Amsterdam Cafe what do your fair towns have to offer.
The only poisoning I will be doing is to my liver.

The Auburn hotel has a really nice restaurant inside. Hamilton's is really good.

Irish Bread Pub in Opelika is really good as well, but isn't your 'upscale" restaurant. It is just good food.

Are you looking for nicer stuff or just good eats?

If you want an obscure choice, Naruto Cafe is fantastic. They have a lot of hibachi style stuff and other Korean & Thai dishes. The restaurant looks weird, but their rice bowls are the shite.

given the $ goes much further in college towns and we all have fine employment, anything is fair game.

what ab bars? Supper Club is not an option.

is Buffalo's still up there? It was on Magnolia Ave. very close to Tommers Corner when I was going to school up there.

they served food there but I remember people just going there more for drinks.

Tried to find it the last time we went through Alabama on the way to the beach. Had to settle for DQ instead. I hate DQ for anything other than Blizzards.

The Hound is a good restaurant/bar. Normally has some unusual brews on tap, a good bourbon selection, and a quality/unique menu. It's kind of tucked away in downtown Auburn, but it's worth the trip. Haven't had a bad experience yet.

I remember going to Hamilton's. Was there for a baseball series years ago and watched the Final Four there. I think the food was good too.
