Florida fans: Are you excited about Coach Roper's coming HUNH offense?

According to this article:
I've seen Driskel run, it looks like he has pretty good speed. Do you think he will flourish with Roper?
Also, a general question: How many SEC teams will be using the HUNH in 2014 as a mainstay?

That the Muschamps of the world are agreeing that the up-tempo is the way to go says it all.

Driskel was a top rated, dual threat, QB coming out of High School. I think he will do well in the new system.
That being said, I think most Florida fans have been wanting to see ANYTHING productive out of our offense for so long...we will be happy getting it any way we can.

No doubt. UF always seems to have speed. If Roper can figure out how to use it in space, 1-on-1, this has to be good news.

His 3rd OC...I think you're right. I have a feeling he got this right (though for full disclosure I thought Pease was a homerun hire so my judgement wasn't very good).

That's a lot of no huddle teams to play against every year. I hope we have a lot of Dlinemen.

He was able to make it work at Duke, though many claim he was not the play caller (still waiting to see Cutcliffe holding a play chart on the sideline), so I'm looking forward to seeing what he do with Florida talent.

OP updated. I'm sticking with those who use it as a mainstay. I think just about everyone uses it from time to time.

I want to say Kentucky but I can't recall what they run for the life of me

Well Cutcliffe can develop a QB, no doubt. I guess the question at Duke is, who worked with the QB's...Cutcliffe or Roper? At UF it definitely won't be Muschamp.

I've forgotten what a "flourish"-ing UF offense looks like.

Fans are pretty hungry for a competent offense. A lot of people didn't care for the 2012 season too because of how we won. Anything is better than last year but that isn't enough. I don't think he'll meet expectations but would be happy to be wrong about that.

I'm not sure either. I also want to say Mizzou, but don't know.

Missouri's offense is a spread but I wouldn't say they were exclusively a HUNH. I think your list is probably set as far as ones that run it constantly.

Right, as a mainstay, not every once in a while.
