Not so much a rumor, but

Also, Jairus Byrd signed with the New Orleans Saints

I fully expect the Falcons to sign an OG through FA and this would be a nice move.

Champ, while physically he has lost a step or 10, he would be a great asset to the team especially with the 2 CBs we signed last year

Asamoah would end up being a great addition. In week 13, he got replaced by Schwartz in week 13, but because of injury, and then they stuck with him.
Schwartz was rated as the better run blocker, while Asamoah was rated as the better pass protector, and is 2 years younger (26).

There is rumors that Champ might be moved to FS if he comes. The best part if he came though, would be to teach our young corners. A year under Champ would really boost their careers IMO.

There are now rumors that the Falcons are talking to NT Paul Soliai.

If you wanted a sign that the Falcons are going to align their personnel to run more 3-4 fronts in 2014, today has been kind to you. The Falcons announced Mark Collins as the new outside linebacker coach, Vaughn McClure said current Falcons players are talking about and they're now reportedly showing interest in Paul Soliai.

As long as Peter Konz is not on the field I'll be ok.

Lawd I hope not.
If we sign the guard from KC, we will have 3 of 5 positions covered. We just resigned Mike Johnson who had originally beat out Holmes until he suffered a season ending injury in preseason.

The only real position he could play would be center, but he got beat out by Hawley during the season (hasn't been resigned though)

He was an important pick up in my opinion. I love Babs, but I am not sure how well he will do if the Falcons truly move to the 3-4 this season.

We threw a bunch of money at both Soliai and Jackson. Hope they are worth it.
