Tiny Hughes, AR, sitting 20 miles east of Forrest City where Gus Malzahn started his football coaching career and implemented his philosophy of the HUNH and dirty recruiting hasn't weathered the aftermath of the HUNH offense being implemented in their town.

Hughes hasn't won a game since 2005, has lost 39 straight and kids have been so banged up and unable to sustain the pace that the school hasn't even fielded a team since 2010. They hope to be able to bring football back in the fall of 2014, but a projected long hot summer may derail those plans.

The short term effects have at least two coaches scrambling.

Saban and Bert come out again setting clocks forward one hour! 'We already live in too hurried a world as it is. We would support setting clocks back both in Fall and Spring'.

As I read a little more they don't think they'll be able to have Varsity HS football until 2017.

Auburn may have to disband their football program in a few years with the velocity of competition these days.

Never thought I'd say it, but it's a good thing Nutt held the reins of the offense when Gus was OC here.

Soon we'll gain an entire day a week and the caesarian calendar will no longer be the standard.
