By losing at home to Georgia, you've made it virtually impossible for the SEC to get more than three bids. The play-in game between Tennessee and Arkansas is set.

Why does it matter if the SEC has more tournament teams? Only one team will not end the season with a loss.

How the hell has LSU underachieved all year is beyond me. They have almost as much talent as Florida.

If the SEC sucks, the SEC sucks

Even if UF wins it all, the SEC will still suck

Three? I think four and thought that way without LSU being in that quartet. Part of the following is also based on SECT. Don't sell SEC bb short.

The fricking Big Ten isn't any better...have you seen Ohio St play? If they get in and some of our mid tier teams don't...? ACC? Duke? UNC? UVA? Syracuse? They carry the banners and are beatable. Clemson, the girls school, Wake, Va Tech, Ga Tech, Marys land, etc etc are all average..Virginia is maybe the best team.

SEC invites

UF
UK
UT
UGA or Arkansas

Mizzou
Arkansas or UGA

The American Conference is probably one of the toughest, but they have laid more eggs than a poultry farm. PAC 12? Arizona Tea and who else?
Big 12? OU, UT have shown serious flaws, Kansas? Hell, we beat them.

Um, yes, the B1G and Big XII are much better than the SEC this season. The ACC isn't great, but it's still better than the SEC. Same with the American, Pac-12, Big East, and even the A-10.

The SEC sucks this season, and that's all backed up by RPI, Sagarin, KenPom, etc. But I want as many teams from the SEC to get in as possible. It's important for perception. A lot of the talking heads seem to equate tourney bids with the strength of a conference. The stronger your conference is perceived to be, the better seed you'll get in the tournament.

And there's absolutely no way that UGA gets an at-large bid in any scenario. They need to win the SECT. Tennessee and Arkansas are both on the bubble. One is going to cannibalize the other because they're matched up early in the SECT. Had LSU beat Georgia at home like a good team should, they wouldn't have had to play in the quarterfinals and both teams would have probably gotten in. Thanks LSU.
