Absolutely huge. Should have a winnable game in the first round(Missouri I think) and then if we win we get a chance against UK which could put us on the right side of the bubble if we win.

Tied for second in the league

Played through some horrible calls and still won by double digits. I'm actually excited about this team next year.

I believe. Fox did a(n) - pick an adjective - awesome, phenomenal, outstanding, great, unbelievable, job coaching this team this season.

I remember thinking when he won at Mizzou to start the conference slate and broke down weeping at the end that it was nice he'd get at least one signature win his last season at UGA.

Not going to be his last season now. Good on him.

Go Dawgs!!! Great win!!! If they make it to the Championship game, Coach Fox needs to go Spike Squad...heck get the entire bench to join in and we'll have the Legion of Doom on our side.

I all seriousness, I'm very excited about the momentum going into the Tournament. The key is to stay focused and keep things rolling.

He's a good coach he just can't recruit. At all.

I mean I guess he got some diamonds in the rough with Gaines and Mann, but he can't get any recruit that a school of equal or greater prestige goes after.

Well, not really. Mann was recruited pretty hard to go to UCon. If I remember correctly. Gaines and. Morris were pursued by a fair amount of southern schools like clemson etc. JJ Frazier got recruited by some big time schools. I think virginia and va tech wanted him. Juwan Parker had offers from ok st and Baylor. Not sure the details of these but these guys are gets. Sure, we do need to do better at recruiting overall but I am not displeased with the talent other than we need a center.

I've gone back and forth over fox over the years. I've bought in plenty of times only to be burned. But I have played close attention. Fox has gotten much better as a coach over the past 4 years. He would drive me crazy, but he really has settled in and I don't see any obvious coaching issues. I am not ready to declare him the answer to Georgia basketball, but I will say I was pleased with this season and will welcome him back next season to build upon it.
