Kentucky @ Florida - Pre Game

Florida is the second team in SEC
history to hold a 17-0 conference
record (LSU, 1981). No team has ever
gone 18-0 in the history of the SEC.
Senior Class and pre game notes
No SEC team has ever completed an 18-game conference season undefeated -- Kentucky (three times), Vanderbilt and LSU (once each) went 17-1 -- and Florida, having already wrapped up its second straight regular-season league title, has a chance to be the first. That would be a significant and fitting achievement for a senior group that has won 112 games since arriving in 2010-11.
Additional notes
There is no getting around the fact that this is a huge game for both teams and yet at the same time, a loss doesn't really hurt either team very much. It is basically the ultimate pride game. Reminds me somewhat of Duke/UNC 20 years ago. Florida is working hard trying to get on equal footing with Kentucky in the basketball realm. Good luck Cats!

I just rode the elevator down and it stopped on the way down and two guys got in and held the door...meanwhile I'm in a suit w a name tag for my event...in walks Julius randle and we get to the ground floor and open up and there are Kentucky fans everywhere trying to get his autograph and they think I'm w like the staff or something and they're telling me good luck

Meh. I might flip over to it during commercials, but I'll mostly be watching our women's team play South Carolina in the SEC tourney during what I assume with be a bloodbath with the men.
