There is no spinning it. We are awful and will be lucky to go on the road for a regional. Every decent team we faced has manhandled us. We will get slaughtered in SEC play..can't hit, pitching is terrible, fielding is subpar. Very disappointing

we're also what, 16 games into a 60+ game season?
yes, we have some issues currently but I am confident Cohen and co will get them worked out.
we got big heads with our preseason rankings/love/expectations but in the long run we will be fine

The teams we are playing this weekend are two of the toughest teams we will play all season. We got beat around. We will have to see how we respond. For some reason people thought we could just go in and take all four games. These are two postseason teams.

The had gotten the shite beat out of them by long beach and seton hall the five games prior to knocking states dick in the dirt last night

Normally I would agree I expected a slight dropoff in fielding and hitting early in the year. But our pitching is what worries me. We are letting mediocre teams score too many runs..I expected pitching to hold teams to 4 runs or less most of the time and give us a chance in each game

I agree. We're just not very good at any phase of the game right now. I'd like to think we could turn it around and be a serious contender, but from what I've seen thus far, we'd have to improve in every part of our game.

I don't understand how y'all are performing so poorly. Y'all have damn near everyone back from last year. I figured y'all would get back to 17-0 possibly more this year.

And we are currently losing 7-6 top of the 6th inning to UC Santa Barbara

This team we're fielding now will. I'm hoping the team we cheer for a month from now will be altogether unrecognizable from the one we've seen this past month.

I find it ridiculous that we have media accounts tweeting about out offense being slow while we are giving up 10 run games.
