"I'm trying to put out fires that aren't even justified and to clear the record, I guess, is the best way to put it," Andrews told CBSSports.com. "It came out he had a failed ACL surgery -- that's not even close to the truth. His performance at the combine had nothing to do with his knee situation, and that was blown way out of proportion and that's not fair to the kid."
His combine was awful. No reason to gloss over that. But his potential alone will give him a first round grade. Hopefully this will stop the rumors. That's been his biggest enemy.

Dr. Andrews showing his Auburn colors. Essentially saying "He didn't suck because of his knee situation, he just sucked generally."

Andrews is the Alabama and Auburn team physician. But he's a LSU grad and has daughters that went to Ole Miss.

I think he is a 2x LSU grad, not that he shows it much.

If Dr Andrews preformed the surgery then it sounds like he wants people to know that it wasn't his fault or the work he done that caused CK to perform bad.

I'm just joking folks, we've got a band war going on, we don't need a fight over surgeon allegiance too.

I should say one of...that's stands to reason for Alabama as well.

Cyko's issues whatever they might be were NOT knee related whatsoever.
So all the knownothing's putting out all the negative info about Alabama being so hard on players need to print retractions.

What about the other 20 players that were worn out after Bama?

There's been chatter of Alabama players being injury prone, but nothing too extravagant.

Trolling aside, who are they?

If Dr Andrews preformed the surgery

Kouandjio underwent surgery on his ACL and MCL midway through his freshman season in 2011. He returned for the following spring and started 27 consecutive games throughout the rest of his three-year Alabama career.
Andrews, who did not perform Kouandjio's surgery, said the "wear patterns" on his knee have not changed since he arrived at Alabama.

Andrews is sending updated medical reports to all 32 teams to dismiss the notion that Kouandjio wasn't healthy enough to have a long-term future in the NFL.

Any team considering drafting the guy will care about what THEIR doctors have to say and won't give a shite about Andrews' opinion.

This happens a lot. Some teams or scouts put out false information so the player will drop and give certain teams a better chance at getting a player without having to spend a lot of money.

Dr.Lyle Cain performed the surgery and said the same thing in the CBS article.
