I'm sure that I'll catch more shite that imaginable for this, but it is beyond time.

If you think he is getting fired after two seasons you are wrong.

Wake me up next November...

At that point, we can start fairly judging him...

If he isn't fired after this year, it is a mistake. At the very least his job should be on the line against SC, if it isn't gone already. The dude is a shitty coach, we have consistently gotten worse.

@Engie, I would agree in any other sport. BBall has a short turn around, you can expect to at least see improvement. If anything, we have seen the opposite.

No, it really isn't. Not from the situation we were in when Ray took over. And not in today's SEC. There are countless examples of this not working out in a row. Pearl was the last one that actually accomplished a quick, established turnaround -- and he inherited 2 all-SEC players.

We have seen improvement. I just ran the numbers on ED. While we aren't actually winning the games yet -- the margins are far better than they were last year. So much so -- that the same improvement again will see us go about 4-6 against the top 7 in the league next year -- which most likely puts us in the top 7 overall and in the NIT.

This was always going to be 2 rebuilding years regardless. I understand people being frustrated. But the bottom line is -- shite happens during a rebuild. Next year will tell the story. One way or another.

I'm not buying "today's SEC". The 2011 and 2012 teams would be 1-3 losses in the league right now, and could easily have been a top 10-15 team in a league this weak. UF is literally the only team we've played worth a decent shite.

According to conference RPI, this year is stronger than 2011.

"1-3 losses"? Do you even remember those teams getting destroyed by the shitshows late in the year? Top 10-15 team? LOL. Sure.

Am I the only one who noticed we shot 0-15 from three.

How bad does a D1 college team have to be shooting wise to shoot that bad

How bad does a coach have to be to continue allowing his team to throw up 15+ 3's a game? We have shot that poorly all season, because we suck. Its one thing to be shitty at shooting, its another entirely to keep throwing up the same shots you know you can't make consistently.

No, we all noticed it Bundy -- while catching bits and pieces of the game between innings....

What other option do we have?

Since the 3rd week of SEC play, teams have been backing down and giving us those shots -- and thus taking away the driving lanes. This is also allowing them to double and triple Ware on the inside because they are already in such close proximity to him playing off the perimeter. Nevermind the effect it has on us basically never getting offensive rebounds when all 5 of their guys are in the paint.

We've got to shoot better from 3 -- and that will also free up Ware, the driving lanes for Sword, and help us have a better chance in a rebounding game. 1-2 guys that can hit 3's pretty well -- and the entire gameplan of defending us changes -- and we become a much, much more dangerous team. I think we've got a chance to have those shooters next year.

Here's an idea me and a buddy threw around tonight. Does state throw ray under the bus, fire him, and go after securing the talents of one Malik Newman. They achieve this by hiring someone in his circle in some capacity under a new regime.

The would be the dumbest idea ever. You don't go hire one of his boys just to get him for one year.

This is what I don't understand. We all knew what was going to happen going into the season. What did we predict? I know I said 15 wins was the target. Now people are freaking the frick out because it's happening. Where is the logic here?

You should catch shite for it. You started this crap on the main board earlier this week. It is Germans. People are either comfortable with allowing the rebuilding process to play out, or they aren't. You aren't. We get it.

First post topic I've ever made about it, actually.
