My guess? Week 6. I think the Gus Bus makes it official. A B1G defense exposed Jennings for what he was. It was a one of the worst QB performances LSU has had in a while, and that's saying something. The sad part is, he had two all-world receivers to throw too, and an awesome running attack to help him. It couldn't have been more perfect for him. He went 7/19 for 82 yards. 0 TDs. 1 INT. Against a B1G defense...

But if not Auburn, then who? FLorida? Kentucky? Will LSU make it all the way to Ole Miss before having to change quarterbacks? What say you tRant?

I get that you are new to the conference but QBs are given time to learn here...even Kyle Allen.

Little known fact.

Anthony is responsible for the same number of wins (2) as Johnny Manziel has losses to LSU (2)

Harris should be pretty good for them. LSU would be smart to continue this strategy of piggybacking us and taking the QBs like Harris that we don't have room for

It's not a bad idea, but they seem to be all in on pitching to guys like Fournette that the offense will be all about them. As long as they continue to do that, they'll never get top flight QBs or top flight WRs(like Speedy). Wouldn't be a bad idea for them to go after the guys spurned by A&M because they will have a chip on their shoulder for not being good enough to play for the 12th Man. Will more often than not probably be a better prospect than if they just tried to sell a guy on the LSU program alone.

Jennings isn't responsible for any wins. LSU won in spite of him. Manziel never had a college game with less than a hundred yards passing(other than Rice where he only played a quarter and still got 90 something) or negative rushing yards. Somehow Jennings managed to do both in one game... against a B1G defense...

wasn't expecting much from jennings in that game. game was in the rain on a bad field and miles was dying to to let hill carry it every down. who knows how jennings will turn out but it was his first full game as a starter and the conditions were poor at best.

If I were LSU, I'd want Rettig to win that gig. I think LSU is at their best with a pro-style passer at QB.

Speaking of that, how has Rettig looked at LSU in practices, etc?

Blown coverage. If he had to play the whole game, LSU would have lost.

Nice try, how about you worry more about your QB situation.

there were several plays before that.

Like a throw out of his own end zone and a 21 yard run.

Against the worst team in the SEC. That in no way compensates for a disastrous bowl performance.

Even Johnny's worst games were light years better than Jennings against a B1G team....
