Agreed. If he was such a "fan" he could have closed it by focusing on the positives, rather than belaboring the "they're still way behind" bullshite.
He used his knowledge of our struggles to lauch his career. He helped perpetuate a negative image of OM to help himself. Not a fan.

It happened 27 years before I was born. So yeah that's a pretty good while ago.
And you do realize it had more to do with Ross Barnett going on a power trip because everybody hated him and most of the "rioters" weren't Ole Miss students.
