Just kind of sudden to go silent against a team like South Alabama after not scoring any less than 6 in a single game all season.

South Alabama's Saturday and Sunday starters were both really good, and they both nearly pitched complete games.

We basically have a new pitching staff, Beeks was a middle reliever last year and now he's our Friday starter. It's gonna take time for this team to gel.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the pitchers. Our pitching has been solid for the most part. Our bats were too, up until today. But I know it's baseball. No rhyme or reason to anything.

well Wise is 1 for 20 on the year

Fisher is the same old Fisher hitting .156 on the year.

Need the vets to help out the younger players by getting clutch hits.

Benintendi went 1-8 today but made contact every at-bat just hit it at or on the ground to people.

Wilkerson and Bernal combined went 5-8 today with 3 walks and 2 HBP.

McAfee and Serrano each had 3 hits total in the two games.

Errors are still plaguing this team just like last year too. We have piss poor infielders.

Yea. McAfee booted one in each of the games today. Anderson let a ball go through his legs and Fisher had his second error of this series today.

Also had two wild pitches, a balk and a passed ball today.

They were sloppy all around.

Very sloppy. Anderson also missed a double play because of a terrible throw. A junior making those mistakes is frustrating.

If be a little more concerned if it would have been two days in a row rather than a double header. It isn't uncommon to come out hot/cold in a game 1 and continue that trend through the 2nd game.
