or just a moonshiners son?? On a Nashville radio station he said he would never recruit a white QB. I do not have a link sorry.

He said his offense was a QB/FB offense and his QB's had to run and pass. Run better than pass.

The day before he called JFF a "Little Prick" in an interview with a St. Louis radio station.

Just wondering if someone of the same color can be a racist toward a particular group of people the same color as he.

No. However, had he said he would never recruit a black QB the day before he called Jameis Winston a "little pr*ck", then he would be a horrendous racist to be shunned by all polite society.

That's the way it be.

He did a radio interview with Jackie Sherrill to promote their Cotton Bowl show before Manziel put on the greatest bowl performance ever. Former Texas A&M QB, Jerrod Johnson(black) was cohosting. Now I'm paraphrasing, but it went something like this.

JJ: Some generic question.

Switzer: Shoehorning every question ever given him to talk about his greatness says something generic and then says something to the effect of, "I liked you, you were my kind if quarterback".

Radio Host: Now Barry, explain what you mean by that.

Switzer: Well, you're black.

Laughter

Switzer: I mean I was the son of a bootlegger. (Promotes book). I was the first coach that cared about the black athlete blah blah blah.

I'm sure he said the same thing on the Nashville radio show.

If he didn't break his ankle he would have played him. He was awesome against Miami.

Was it not one of his black QB's who was arrested for having a machine gun in his dorm room? Switzer owed a lot of his college success to the fact that he played in a two team league in his prime and Neb. more than held its own agaist him.
