When you have Bridget Sloan as well as two other elite level gymnasts on your team, you should be winning every meet.

Actually, both of y'all are wrong. Despite losing the meet to UF, LSU is ranked #1 in the country. Wins/losses mean absolutely nothing in gymnastics. Also, LSU's weakes event has been the bars. Beam has seen a great improvement.

By "out in front" I was referring to all sports. I wasn't clear enough. If we could just get our womens basketball winning more.

My son and daughter both train here in Texas, where coach Faehn is recruiting heavily. 3 future Gators are all from Texas. We taking over, Gators everywhere...

It doesn't really mean anything, actually. And to say that UF athletics are "out in front" of LSU athletics is pretty comical.

This is the major problem with gymnastics. How in the world they decided to make wins and losses unimportant is a freaking mystery.
Look at the teams UF has beaten. They should be #1. Here's a pretty good article about the stupidity of it all.

Nebraska is 6-1 with an average score of 196.6429 and a SOS of 30 (out of 62 teams)
Georgia is 4-4 with an average score of 196.8656 and a SOS of 5 (out of 62).
That's why they don't use win loss records.
Hell, the rankings don't really matter anyway. UF will be a #1 seed at regionals, will win said regional, make it to the Super Six, and compete for back to back championships.

I didn't know they switched their ranking method midseason, I assumed it was a mistake. Not that it really matters. As long as Sloan is on the team, they should probably win the title every year.
