Was wanting to see who yall thought put up some sick nfl combine numbers over the years.
What got me interested was I saw a D Pollacks combine numbers and they were pretty sick.
D Pollack:
6-2', 265lbs....4.75 40yd....3.94 20-ss....6.87 3-cone.....37" vertical..... 10' broad jump....25 BP
Here are some of A Peterson combine numbers:
6-1, 217lbs....4.4 4oyd....4.40 20-ss....7.09 3-cone....38.5" vertical......10' 7" broad jump
Thats just sick for Pollack.
For me, I thought last year Cornelius Washington put up sick numbers too. He under achieved for sure while here at UGA, but I think he would have been way more effective as a 4-3 DE. But here's his combine numbers vs clowney:
CW: 6-4, 265lbs....34" arm length.......9 1/2" hands
4.55 40yd....36 reps.....39" vertical....10' 8" broad
JC: 6-5, 266lbs....34 1/2" arm length...10" hands
4.53 40yd....21 reps.....37.5" vertical....10' 4" broad...7.27 3 cone.
And again, thats just sick!

This comparison of CW and JC is the reason why numbers alone should not be used when discussing football players. While its true, CW was on par as athletic as Clowney, he had no where near the ability to disrupt football games. Whether it be skill set, focus, smarts, coaching..IDK. But I know this. One is a first round pick, the other is not yet they are basically the same on paper. It comes down to not only the combine, but what you do on the field

Not sure about that. You can still be big, fast and
even have a great vertical and still not have what
it takes athletically (quickness,vision,hand-eye)
I believe Richard Samuel was in the same boat as CW.Pretty sure he put up good combine numbers
but just didn't have the athletic ability to excel at the next level.

Anyone know what RS22 is up to nowadays?
