Giving his show-cause is up this year, who will get Bruce? My odds are on Tennessee if they don't make it to the tournament this year. Bruce didn't even commit murder like many of you think he did. He hosted a recruit at a BBQ and lied about it. The only thing is he was caught. He apologized about it and served his time. He didn't get caught for paying his players tens of thousands of dollars. He didn't have a booster buy his players hookers and drugs.

All of my UT friends that follow the other UT boards very closely give the best insight on to what could happen. There's a growing petition of over 21,000 wanting to bring him back. Bruce still lives in Knoxville and shows up at basically everything his former players host like Bobby Mayes' charity basketball game. The fans absolutely love him and still gets a standing ovation. UT admins would be completely crazy to not pursue Pearl. You can tell through his interviews that he desperately wants another chance at UT, and I've heard he doesn't want to even coach at another SEC school.

There is no way Bruce will go to Bama. Just because you have a whiny coach in football that is on the decline, doesn't mean your money can buy you anyone you want just because you had a small dynasty in football. Bama, quit with this shite that everyone in the world believes your school is the best coaching job at any sport. You have football. That is it.

As for the other SEC schools...good luck. It's not going to happen. Bookmark it.

Bama will not hire him during or after the show-cause

I think Auburn is the safest bet.

Tennessee could obviously get him if they offered him the job, but that doesn't seem likely.
