Looking for something nicer and a little romantic, Nothing too pricey, maybe ~$75.

Try Canoe. You can get out if there for about 75 if you don't drink.

We love Nino's. It's an Old school Italian restaurant.

Okay,

Just entrées, or also apps or salads?

Any type of cuisine you don't want? Or area, you don't want to go? Or are you doing anything else after?

Sorry for the twenty questions.

Ruth's Chris is good, but it's chainy
Houston's is good, but it's chainy

What type of food are you looking for?

I recommend the Palm ask for Sir Johns table and check out the seasonal menu.

$75 would be better at lunch but with no drinks involved doable.

Just entrees and drinks, prob no appetizers or anything else. We like Italian, but not restricted to that type. It doesn't necessarily have to be downtown, but we will be ITP so hopefully not too far out.

Cool,

Canoe, like mentioned is great.
No 246
Iberian pig
Empire State south.

The Decatur ones might be cool, you guys could walk around and maybe grab drinks at one of the numerous other places after.

Thanks for the suggestions guys and Girlie, never really spent more than a few hours in Atlanta not for a Braves or Falcons game so really needed some help here.

Just thought we'd make a small day trip out of it. No particular reason.

Anything to do in the day? She's thinking Coke factory but I am thinking to that.

Honestly, I'd recommend several places in Decatur. Iberian pig, No. 246, cakes and ales, victory sandwich shop, brick store (favorite place to drink beer ever), the kimball house, Leon's full service. They're all within walking distance right there in downtown decatur. You could probably hit up three and keep it within your budget.

I actually did that with the GF the other day.
Victory, brick store, 246, Iberian pig, kimball house and Leon's full service all in one night. All in all about 150 bucks.

I've never been to the coke museum. But sounds more like a family thing.

If you want to do a romantic day, hopefully on a nice day, I'd suggest, piedmont park walk, maybe even a festival day, botanical gardens. Rent a bike, ride around the park and midtown. Go to some bars. Go down to Virginia highlands shop and walk. Or maybe even down to little five and see some weird people.

Then head over to Decatur walk around the square, eat at Iberian pig, then get drinks at another bar. There are plenty, you are sure to find one that fits you.

Jack and coke slushies yum.

Decatur really is fun. And you don't have to drive around.

Hals, and get the bone-in ribeye. Best freakin steak in the state, maybe top 10 in the country.

Compromise, you can go to the Aquarium and the Coke Museum since they're right next to each other.

Have you tried Rathbun's? I've never been to Hals. I've been to a bunch of others and rathbuns has two of my favorite steaks ever.
