AUBURN, Ala. -- Daron Payne may take his recruitment all the way to Signing Day, but many expect his final decision to come down to Auburn and Alabama.
The 5-star defensive tackle from Shades Valley in Birmingham, Ala., agrees. “That’s a good assumption,” Payne said. “...It’s going to be tough -- dream school and a great team.” When asked which school was his dream school, Payne replied, “Auburn.”

If he's from Alabama, Auburn is his dream school, and Alabama is still in the mix, the kid probably has his mind on the NFL already, and Saban has probably already pitched that into oblivion. For now he's probably gone, but if we repeat last year and put a good group of guys from our team are drafted early, it could change easily.
