2016 UGA/Georgia Southern game moved up to 2015

Traditionally, Georgia and Georgia Southern play in football about every four years. But the schools have agreed to move up their next scheduled game a year and now will play on Nov. 21, 2015. It was originally slated to be played Nov. 19, 2016.
“Both schools agreed to do it,” said UGA Athletic Director Greg McGarity, who completed the $850,000 deal with Georgia Southern AD Tom Kleinlein on Jan. 27. “We just wanted to move it up to complete our non-conference. It’s not an addition. We just moved it up a year.”

Probably just gonna be another 30 pt victory where we get to play a bunch of back ups but I like the tenacity.
Even better than that it's a reprieve for GSU kids. Gives them an excuse to leave that hole in Statesboro and have some fun in Athens with their friends who didn't dick around in HS.

GA Southern actually recruiting really well this year... top class in the sunbelt, I believe. They could really do some damage in that league.

Think this is their first year in the FBS. They just did their transition year and were ineligible for post season like Appy State

GSU friends were telling me this. They'll probably kick that divisions arse and do far better than say UMass or Ga State in FBS

It's possible. I think if we see Florida start to manipulate their future schedule as well, then it's likely we're headed to 9 games.
