Since you don't know the accepted definition of flagship, your rankings don't matter. Flagships have to be public. Emory, Tulane, Washington University at St. Louis, and Vanderbilt would all be DQed by that.

You don't know what a flagship university is, do you?

Nice sail. That stiff competition from the Red Wolves and Harding really did make this an accomplishment for the tFlagship.
umm...Rice? Is this "public" universities only?
And those numbers are going to change pretty quickly in the next few years. Just watch.

Should never have let Tulane go.

Shows how accurate your source is, they call Shreveport the 2nd largest city in LA and we all know it's 3rd and becoming 4th!!!!

If you asked the average person to name the best school in each state, these would be the answers. Or if you asked the average employer.
I don't really see much that is controversial here.

No doubt. That is the shittiest ranking and as little credibility as I have ever seen. A team of retarded monkeys could have thrown shite at a wall and made a better list.
This is all the evidence I need:
1. University of Texas at Austin
2. University of Dallas
The University of Dallas is not even the SECOND best in D/FW. There are no less than 7 schools better than U of D. And the fact that the authors left off Rice....I have no words.

You don't seriously think it's A&M do you?
Rice, UT, Houston, Baylor, TCU, SMU are all far superior institutions.
