It passed the House, by a wide margin, and is going to the Senate so we may get to see more dumb comments if they debate it.

These are the people running our state, making our laws, the people who are way less smart and enlightened than you and I. Sheer idiocracy, delusion, and ignorance.

The whole Frank Haney building/Carraway Hostpital situation is another reason i need to get out of this state.

Yeah the stupidity permeates both sides in this state.

I will say the lone reasonable voice yesterday was the Democrat from Tuscaloosa - Chris England.

It's like these idiots were asleep when Roy Moore was removed from the bench for not removing the Ten Commandments from his courtroom.

The frightening part was all these representatives from cities. Some rep from like Evergreen, sure. I was seeing Mobile and Montgomery far more than I would have expected or hoped. I mean WTF state of my birth?

I want more Roy Moore signing bibles. I'm feeling a comeback tour.

I've never heard of Valley. So some back woods God-fearing redneck types elected the ring leader. The other idiots from cities were all Democrats. So figure it out.

Rep. John Rogers would rather adjourn for lunch than finish this debate now. – Rep. John Rogers

Are they sure this is what he said? I've never been able to understand a word that comes from his mouth.

It's right on the Georgia line off I-85 not far from Auburn. And yes it is very backwoods. The guy is Assembly of God.

Most people in this state don't even vote. I think the last non-presidential election turnout was about 30%. In a lot of these backwoods places the polling is done at the big local church so it brings out the religious vote and we end up with these buffoons. And that's exactly how those in power want it. Let the uneducated, uninformed people keep them in power so they can keep pulling the wool over their eyes by making a splash with these types of votes so it diverts their attention away from the real damage they're doing.

That guy is almost worth having around for the lolz. That was magnificent.

It's easier to rob you when you're paying attention to something else.

We all bitch about how terrible the politicians are and yet they don't change. It's all of our faults if we admit it or not. It's horrifying that people like that can get elected. It's horrifying that otherwise very fair minded intelligent people get so wrapped up in the game that they don't care how shitty their own guy is as long as the other team loses. We built this.
