Lady Gamecocks improve to 24-2 and 12-1 in conference.

Does any other SEC program have 3 different top-5 ranked teams?

Aggies, Cats, Vols? Any of y'all want to chime in?

SC controls their destiny for the SEC title. 3 games remaining against Florida, Georgia and @Tennessee.

A&M can snag the title by winning out and SC losing one (most likely to Tennessee).

Tennessee can get it by winning out but SC must lose to either UF or UGA and A&M must also lose one more.

Should make for an interesting finish.

Dawn's done an amazing job with the program. Hopefully this team can make a deep run in the tourney. What's it gonna take to get that #1 girl recruit, A'ja Wilson, to commit to the Gamecocks?

Until this week, UGA had 4 in the top 5. Now we have 2, with 5 in the top 7.

Florida is ranked:
#2 Gymnastics
#2 M Basketball
#1 M Swimming & Diving
#1 Softball
#2 M Track & Field (I)
#2 W Track & Field (I)
#4 W Tennis

Big win for the Cocks. They kept the score low till half and got to play their game instead of running with UK. Dawn has done a good job with this team and the whole starting line may be one of the biggest I can remember so they have the big bodies to play solid D. A win at the Vols and pretty sure they can sew up a #1 seed. Uconn and Notre Dame should get 2 of the 4 #1 seeds, and Uconn ends with Louisville which will probably be the loss that knocks them down to a #2. Along with the Cocks, Stanford has probably the best shot for the remaining #1 seed.

My guess is they will have to play the first and second rounds in ACC country at either UNC or Duke, so as the SEC team they will not get the calls. The closest regional would be Louisville, but that and Notre Dame would be the closest for Uconn so expect Geno and the Huskies in that bracket.

To answer your question, yes there is at least one other SEC school with 3 top 5 teams. I bet you feel special now don't you?

Well considering Equestrian isn't an NCAA sport, South Carolina only has 2 sports in the top 5 as well, assuming Equestrian is one you guys are counting.

Incorrect, the Auburn + Georgia + South Carolina + Texas A&M are all NCAA sanctioned. The issue is with the vast majority of SEC schools who only have club status and are not recognized by the NCAA.

Forgot about Equestrian, which is an NCAA sport (you're showing your ignorance again), so that brings us to 4 top-5 teams.

They are football, baseball, Wbaskebtall, and equestrian.
