7 year deal!!!! Financials are not out yet.

Locking up the future. Got the coaches, GMs and a strong core signed for many years to come!!

It almost reeks of Liberty Media trying to lock it up to sell the team. They'll have a nice stadium in the works and the core of the team locked up for the foreseeable future. Low risk for a buyer.

Not that I'm complaining. This contract and the Teheran contract are pretty team friendly.

so we got freddie, kimbrell, and simmons locked up? j-hey for 2 years which isnt bad. should be able to pay him once we get off uggla and bj contracts? do i have everything?

Pretty much. Uggla's money will go to either J-Up or J-Hey, whichever one performs better. I'm guessing they'll dip into the $$$ pool to lock up Minor sometime next offseason.

Huge! This guy is pure talent and all all the tools to be one of the best in the game. Just need to get some consistency with his bat and make sure his head doesn't get in the way on defense. He seems to get flustered and when he forces the issue, he makes a mistake.
