What is a national title in basketball worth to you?

There's a question on UF's 24/7 board asking what football result would it take for you to give up a national title in basketball?
I said I'd take a SEC championship in football over a basketball national title but most seem to disagree with me. What's the rant think?

idk. UGA has never one a NC in BBall, so I probably would only take a NC in football over it.

I'm pretty sure most Gator fans are saying otherwise because we suck in football right now and are good at basketball

I do love basketball but we've got a NC in the past 20 years and we've never won the SEC in football so id say SEC championship.

An SEC championship in football vs a national title in basketball? Gonna go with the national title in a major sport (i.e. basketball or football) over a conference title. If Auburn hadn't lost last month and ruined the "best team in SEC = best team in the country" equation, my answer would be different. Thanks a lot, Auburn.

Sadly, a basketball championship seems so far out of the realm of possibility for Auburn that I would have to choose football because even when discussing fantasy it is still the more realistic option

A conference title over a national title? Meh.
Football and Basketball titles are the same for me. Obviously would like one in football since we haven't had one. But I wouldn't trade any of our basketball ones for it.

No way would I trade a basketball title for an SEC championship. As much as I love football, getting through the NCAA tournament is incredibly rewarding as a fan, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
