According to the " Mock Montitor" on the Falcons website, 11 mock drafts have GRob going to Atlanta at #6.

Next closest are Jake Matthews and Kahlil Mack at 5 each.

Jeff Fisher watched him a lot this past year...he won't go past #2.

3 of the 4 analysts on NFL.com plus Kiper and McShay have G-Rob to the Rams at #2 so I would say they are trending ATM.

After he makes jaws drop at the Combine, I don't see him being there at pick #6.

When is the last time we had an Auburn Falcon (for anything past the practice squad)?

TJ Jackson played the last half of the 2006 season but was cut at the end of camp in 2007.

I don't remember if David Irons ever saw any playing time before going on IR and getting cut.

Last two big name Auburn stars for the Falcons (that I can remember) were Aundray Bruce (with Atl from 1988-91) and William Andrews (1979-83,86).

Pat Sullivan was with the team from 1972-75, played in 30 games, started 4.

Falcons have typically never had many players from Auburn on the roster. I think we probably have a higher number of Auburn alums that have been Falcons cheerleaders than we have for Falcons players.

There's only 1 William Andrews How have I never heard of this guy? He had a great short run for the Falcons.

You mean Josh Harris, current long snapper extraordinaire?

Nope. Franchise wise it's the Chicago/St. Louis/Arizona/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals with 22. No other Franchise is over 14.

No? Well allow me to educate you, (and make a point, hang with me here); He is the super talented RB that had the unfortunate luck of being stuck behind James Brooks and Joe Cribbs on the Auburn Dpth Chart. However, instead of crying like a little bitch, then transferring to somewhere like, Oh, I don't know, say UT @ Chatta-sucking-nooga (wink, wink)! Then waiting "30 years or so" (knudge, knudge) to exact his payback by blaming Auburn/trashing in media. No, William Andrews stuck it out and was the man in The NFL until he was hurt.
