While attendance across the country might be getting spottier at college football games, the SEC’s numbers increased in 2013.

Kentucky (20 percent) and Tennessee (6 percent) had the largest increases in attendance last season. Arkansas (9 percent) had the largest decrease.

It's common to see a nice increase in attendance with the hire of a new coach, as shown by Tennessee and especially Kentucky. Stoops clearly has a lot of momentum there. My question to Arkansas fans is how much support does Bert really have from the fans? You lured away a two time Rose Bowl participant yet saw a nine percent drop in attendance? If Bert has another losing season, will the administration be forced to cut ties to salvage ticket sales?

No marquee home games.

When aTm is the best that comes to The Hill....it's going to be a shitty attendance year.

You played the SEC champions and national runner up Auburn as well as a top ten finishing South Carolina. That doesn't seem like a valid response

Yeah because Arkansas fans have a crystal ball and knew Auburn would win the SEC and South Carolina would finish top ten.

Auburn was ranked 8th when you played them and South Carolina was 14. Both were big opponents at the time. Neither game was sold out

That's a really dumb excuse...how does ANY fanbase know, in advance, what it's opponents final ranking will be ? Just dumb
The reason arkie fans quit coming is the abysmal record of the team/coach

Well it was nine games into the season for Auburn and SC has done pretty well for the past several years

I realize you're trolling but surely you're bright enough to figure out why our attendance was down.

Alabama and LSU home seasons always draw more.

They're more important than anyone else.

Don't be mad your program is shitty. Just accept the fact and run along.

We still led Kentucky in attendance, even with their 20 percent increase and our 9 percent decrease.
