Duluth, Clarkston, and Lawrenceville make that list a joke.
I know that they have nice subdivisions. But the list presents itself as compiling a 'safety' ranking.
I would guess that high gang activity, international drug rings, and human trafficing might allow other cities to rank higher.

Duluth being on that list period is hilarious. The east side of duluth closer to John's Creek and Suwanee are alright safetywise but spend the night down by Pleasant Hill Road one night. If you don't get robbed or stabbed I'd be shocked.
Same with Lawrenceville. There are some alright spots but Lawrenceville hasn't been nice since the 90s.

I agree and there were some other ones that made me question it. but the could have added some disclaimers, like populations size, certain crimes excluded, etc... to come up with the list

You mean the west side of Duluth is good. It's the eastern and southern parts that are bad.

I thought it was a decent list until I saw Decatur in front of St. Mary's

What people don't realize is that actual Decatur proper is a very small area - only 4.2 square miles - and that is the safest part of anything called "Decatur".

And yeah, I feel as though all those south georgia towns should have their county crimes added to the statistics since that is where the majority of the population resides.
