I may not like much about TexAgs, but Stewade's new mobile design is outstanding! Maybe it's just the designer in me, but that boy put his foot in it!

I don't want to come off as being insensitive to a tragedy but who came up with this idea in the first place?

I hope is wasn't a Jason marketing tool.

Again, I apologize to any who may be offended.

The way I remember it, it first started as a way to honor the Aggies who passed away at the bonfire tragedy and then morphed into just honoring the spirit of the 12th man.

At the end of the day, I think people were just bothered at how this felt more "forced" than it was sincere.

For me personally, I was more bothered at how the regents just came up with ideas without asking anyone for their input. Its not their job to micro manage Texas A&M. Their job is to run a University system.

It's not just the system regents that disregard all other input. It's the entire administration, just look at 25x25. A solid majority of the engineering students destroyed the idea in the open forum and in our senior exit interviews, but they continue to ignore us.

That's how I remember it as well. I actually really supported the original reason, but if that wasn't going to fly with folks, they should have scrapped it right off the bat instead of trying to crowbar some arbitrary meaning to it. That was definitely contrived.

Yup. Not cool.

On the off chance one of you does this. Do any of you shave with a straight razor? I am effing tired of crappy disposable razor shaves. I need recommendations for razor strop brush soap / cream etc.

What area are we exactly talking about here?

Beard and mustache?

Or our kinky/private parts?

I am a huge fan of the Edwin Jagger razor. I think that is the best you can do without getting a Schick Injector Razor off ebay. Get some Sandalwood Shaving Cream and you have a good combo.

Geez, I wish I had time to do decent shaves like this more often. It is turning into a weekend luxury if that.

Just overheard a sip coworker make this comment, " I think the LHN blazed the trail for the SECN".

Guess he doesn't know the B10N started in 2007.

Said it before he left. He definitely needed one more year to mature both as a QB and a person. I think he shortchanged himself and gave himself impossible expectations to live up to without a strong foundation to stand on by leaving early.

But hey, it's his life, I guess.

If you actually think about it, him staying here would have probably hurt him a bit more. Constant partying without an agent looking after him may have been disastrous. Also the dropoff in WR play and O-line this year would have hurt his stats. There's just not much more he could have done to impress NFL scouts with Sumlin's system. Sure, he could have matured but let's face it, he wasn't going to do that with the people he was associating with while he was at CS.

If he fails at football now, he is set for life so he really did the choice that was best for him. He wrote his legacy at A&M, which is all that matters when he begins life after football. He's got a good chunk of change to invest and prosper around other loyal Ags.
