Totally unrelated, but can anyone explain to me the magma nonsense on the OT? I missed a thread.

One of the Mizzou posters (mograyback/Sleeping Tiger/ miz-zombie/a couple of iterations I can't remember) posted in a 9/11 conspiracy thread awhile back and insisted that magma was present at ground zero and that it was evidence of the government conspiring to kill its own citizens.
tOTB kind of took it and ran with it

Thanks! I remember that thread, but didn't wade deep enough into the bullshite to get to that part.
911 conspiracy theorists would be funny if they weren't so damned ridiculous. I prefer the level-headed ness of UFO junkies.

But do reel doe', anyone actually encountered paranormal activity or believe in it? There was a thread on the General Board on that other site that had a long list of stories that used to freak me out! Some were very eerie.
I have never seen anything (and hope to keep it that way ), but I have a lot of family that lives in a farm in which they swear they hear shite go down.

Application under committee review. Answer in the affirmative on any of these and you're in:
a) Corrective lenses?
b) Daily medication?
c) Think WestCoastAg is a dumbass whippersnapper?
d) a-hole neighbors?

Oh yeah I remember that thread. Seems like a lot of stuff was made up, though.
Par for the course for those kinds of threads, though, I guess.

I always wanted to venture to that trailer park next to the small lake off of Highway 47. More than one person on that thread claimed there was a haunted house right next to the lake...but the more I think about it, the more I realize that my biggest danger wouldn't be ghosts, but trailer park meth heads.

I fricking hate 9/11 conspiracy theorists.
Pet peeves of mine: 9/11 conspiracy theorists, cyclists, militant atheists (I'm personally agnostic, for lack of a better term, I just can't stand the humorless crusade of the online super-athiests).
The one argument you will see me get 100% into on the OT is 9/11 conspiracy theories. They're just so DUMB, but their adherents, no matter how humiliated, just will not give it up. It has become a religion. The Church of 'Fire Can't Melt Steel'
