My Tundra has never been inside of a garage, other than the one at work, which it is barely short enough to fit beneath. The key to not getting broken into is: don't leave anything inside it.

Breaking down SA, Tx.
Traffic wasnt as bad as I expected. 35 from Dallas to SA is probably the worst road Ive ever been on, partly because of construction, mainly because it goes threw the heart of Satans a-hole.
Riverwalk was pretty awesome, met a lot of fellow hog fans & a few ags. Suprisingly never even saw any UT gear(guessing they are still in hiding). Coyote Ugly was a huge disappointment. Was expecting decent females not methed out looking girls.
Top Golf was by far the highlight.(Close to UTSA).
Overall I'd put it behind KC just because it was so spread out & the disturbing "438 people have died on texas roads" roadsign.
Eta: Speaking of Tundras, holy shite thats a popular truck down there

We like to call it Waco. But that works too

SA has the biggest concentration of Texas bandwagon fans. Not surprised. They're hibernating...hopefully for a very long time.

I told ya....I freaking told ya. It has to be something in their water supply . Highest number of butch women per capita in the world is in Bexar County. That's a fact. Don't look it up though.

Some rural highways have other signs that go along the lines of "15 people have died on this stretch of highway this year. Drive Carefully". Very eerie.

Toyota has their truck assembly plant in San Antonio. They build them and use them.
Ford or GM for me. Because !!!

It probably would have been better but we where in the Burbs heading towards Castroville and it was a drive to get anywhere.

Took Mississippi missus last Spring and I agree. San Antonio is easily my favorite Texas city.
Took the boat ride on the riverwalk wearing an A&M shirt, two youngish fellers sitting across from us. One asks me "Did you go to A&M or do you just like the shirt?" "Oh, I went. Class of '79". Young guy looks at other young guy then back at me. "We were born in '79". So then I tossed them both into the river.
At least that's how I remember it.
Biggest SA surprise for me was the high-culture-type stuff that I didn't expect. The Majestic theater:
lives up to its name, and the play was very entertaining. If/when we do another 4-day getaway, SA will be near the top of the list.

Next time, if there is one, you can bypass Austin on the SH 130 toll road (which, as far as I can tell, there's no toll for unless you're a Texas resident. I've waited for a nasty letter/bill for over a year and it hasn't happened.)
For us on the way down I-35 sucked in general from Waco south, but nowhere nearly as bad as Austin. Austin was truly horrible.

Roads could have been amazing in Austin and I would still feel this way.

Considering I was born in '88... They weren't that young.

I would have tossed your arse out of the boat, as well. At least in my dreams.

Born in '90, but I have the joint problems, especially knees, of someone born in the 60's. Does that count?
