How do you Georgia fans feel about not playing Bama since 2008?

It was 2007 since y'all last played in Tuscaloosa.
Is this the longest streak of SEC teams not playing during the regular season?
South Carolina has gone 5 years (including this upcoming season) without playing Ole Miss and we've played every West team at least once since then (not counting A&M although we play in 2014).
*And no, this is not a "uga misses all the tough west teams" type of schedule thread. I'm curious to know what other teams have gone the longest without playing.

I was disappointed my senior year when they took off the scheduled trip to Bama I'd get tickets for to make us go to Missouri.
I mean I guess we probably would have lost and not made the SECCG which was probably a better experience going to, but it was the top of my away roadtrip lists as soon as I knew we played them my senior year when I was guaranteed tickets.
Now it's kind of nice not having to deal with them.

I'd like to play them again, but we did play them in 2012 in Atlanta

I think we've played them 4 times since 2007.

I was pissed when Mizzou bumped them off the schedule for the reason tween the hedges mentioned.

LSU hasn't played powerhouse Kentucky since 2007, but LSU would probably lose like last time, so they are lucky to avoid such a powerhouse.
tSchedule......

But wow, 2007, huh? That beats UGA vs. Bama.

Schedule threads are always an integral part of the offseason. I think you just left the gate open to the Tiger Rant.

Yeah and LSU hasn't come to Columbia since 2008 right? We went to Baton Rouge in 2012 and we'll see when they return that trip.

2011. I understand you wanting to forget that year tho, you only have 1 game to be proud of.

I would prefer a 9-game schedule, but then again, I have always wanted a 9-game schedule. Keep GT on the schedule, and then go with two cupcakes plus two off weeks. I am ok with that. With the playoff system coming into play and the bowls being reshuffled as far as conference affiliation, I am fine with having to drop a rotating good OOC game to get it.

All of that except it was my junior year. Still, was pretty miffed. Have a good many friends in Tuscaloosa and that was gonna be a great road trip.
