Auburn. Big bro-Alabama.
Texas A&M. Big bro-Texas.
Vandy. Big bro-Tennessee.
Florida. Big bro-Florida state.
I'm guessing Ms state and ole miss are twins. Not sure.

The fanbase that is insecure enough to start a thread about "Little bro syndrome".

What are your definitions of lil bro? I bet I could show you every fanbase fits.

Historically Clemson is the big bro but as of late it's like the big bro ended up an alcoholic with no job and the hens are the little bro who just landed a job at Microsoft
Kinda the same with Texas and A&M only Texas may have just got out if rehab and aggies only got a job at Taco Bell

In same state would be the first obvious answer.
Not sure we fit in that scheme

Nobody can fully explain what it means to be a lil bro, except a lil bro. I'm listening.

Well since you created this thread and have a definition in your head already, you are a lil bro as well.

It's threads like this that make this board shite and unreadable.

For AT LEAST the last quarter of a decade, Ole miss has had the "lil bro syndrome" due to all the beatdowns, in all 3 major sports from their big bro.

Little brother relationships are not all equal.
I would love to tell you auburn is the worst case, but recently, they have changed the nature of our relationship. They are little brothers the way Clay Matthews is the little brother of Bruce Matthews - not equal, but great in his own right. Similarly, A&M has the "syndrome" with Texas, and it comes out frequently, but Texas is not far superior to A&M historically, and the gap will close more with the new conference affiliations.
Tennessee is older brother to Vanderbilt the way Fredo Corleone is the older brother to Michael. No explanation necessary there.
Florida - Florida State is like comparing Peyton and Eli Manning. Do you go strictly by championships, or another method. One is older, but not a clear distinction on who is the more accomplished.
