I just carry my little Sig 239 9mm. I did carry a 226 prior but it was just bulky.

How do you like your glock?
Baby eagles are great pistols.

Love my Glock. Chews through any round, easy to clean and accurate.

Glock 26 with a +2 magazine extension, TruGlo TFO sights, and a custom T.R. Graham trigger. I actually own 6 Glocks and have the same trigger/sight set-up on all of them.

S&W model 442 w/ .38 JHP. Weighs less than pound w/o ammo. Hammerless design allows flawless firing from inside a pocket. No safeties/chambering/jamming to worry about. Pull the trigger and I'll know it goes bang.

Springfield XD9. I plan on getting an XDS for carrying purposes though. The XD9 is a bit larger than my liking.

Honestly, while I won't say anyone is a fool for owning a Glock, I don't understand the big deal about them. I understand preference is key, they just look and feel uncomfortable to me.

They just work. On the off chance that it breaks (extractor, etc.), I can replace it in about 90 seconds for $10. Parts, mags, holsters, and other accessories are common and plentiful. Plus, they're relatively cheap when compared to some of the other polymer pistols on the market.

I feel like a Glock is like owning a Mercedes. You're paying for the German engineering and brand. Yeah, it's a little bit better than most, probably not worth the extra $, but when it's something that's protecting your life, a lot of people can justify paying the extra $.
Personally, I like a revolver for my CW so I own American - but if I used a semi, I'd probably look hard at a Glock.

Glock owns 60% of the police market primarily due to their price. Agencies can usually get them for $350-375/each. The regular price for individuals is usually only about $500 if you use a relatively high-volume dealer. Police trade-ins with more life in them that you could ever use up can run as low as $299. The expensive German guns are Sig Sauer and Heckler and Koch.
