Did we lose? Yes. It's laughable to say that we were embarrassed or humiliated though.

Let's take a closer look at the box score from each game.

In the Iron Bowl Alabama out-gained Auburn by 100 yards.
We had more yards per pass.
We had more yards per rush.
We had a greater time of possession.
We had less turnovers.

We lost of a freak play, that while it involved skill, was a freak play nonetheless.

In the Sugar Bowl, we outgained Oklahoma by nearly 100 yards.
We had more yards per pass.
We had more yards per rush.
We had more passing yards and rushing yards.

We largely lost due to 5, yes 5, turnovers and the inability of the defense to get critical stops.

I know it's a shock to the rest of you guys to see Alabama and Nick Saban lose because it happens so rarely.

None of that matters, you lost.

Any time any other school (and I certainly know it true from a UGA perspective) does this same thing and shows how well we played in a loss, we just get made fun of for a "moral victory" or sour grapes or whatever. A loss is a loss, regardless how much you outgained the opponent.

Not reading all that. Bama beat themselves in both games, right?

Why even post shite if you knew these would be the responses. You did get embarassed by OU though. You may have outgained them in ever facet, but you lost by 2 td's.

A 2 game losing streak should be embarrassing ... So yes.

If Nick Marshall is on even JPW's level of passing in that game, we lose by about 6 touchdowns bro.

your post history is littered with "we were 5 yards away from playing Notre Dame" comments.

One of which was a last minute scoop and score. We had a chance to score and tie the game before AJ's fumble.

He is trying to change the rules because he has no answer on how to defend Gus. Malzahn exposed Saban, Big game Bob used the same game plan, and Saban knows he's in trouble.

Don't look at the stats of the games (except the final score). Look at what Saban did in response.

1. Replaces his OC with .... Kiffin.

2. Puts posters up all over his players' lockers with pictures of Auburn and Oklahoma players telling them things need to be done differently next year.

3. Goes to the NCAA rules committee, hand in hand with Bielema ( ) to try and stop Auburn's offense.

Those are the actions of a desperate coach who feels very embarrassed/humiliated at the turn of events at the end of last season.

Sorry.
