After the Scouting Combine concludes, Pro Day workouts will unfold throughout the country. Many schools allow veteran players who attended that school to return and participate, like Texas did last year for Vince Young. At Auburn, it used to not be a problem. This year, however, the football program has told veteran offensive lineman Tyronne Green that he can’t return to campus and participate in the March 4 session. Per a league source, no reason was provided. While adding veteran players to the mix can make the session longer, Green (we’re told) wanted only to participate in the offensive line drills.

I don't view it as a big deal either way.

Auburn Inbred Family. Worshipping their false idol trees with ritualistic toilet paper since the early 1970s

I told Gus to not allow previous players to return. You can blame me.

Wait, are you guys saying Gus is not in charge of the football program?

Full court press by the bammers to make Auburn look like the Evil Empire. First the Evans issue, then Saban pushing for rule changes to prevent injuries because of Gus's HUNH, now the Greene issue. If you can beat them, try to make them look bad.

Not every coach feels the need to control every tiny detail that happens around the athletic complex. Gus didn't have a part of this decision, this came from the front office. Gus hates dealing with the political side of the job and prefers to deal with the coaching and play calling.

Wow, the same school that kicked TPOS RB/TE Eric Smith off the team for fighting another Auburn student, let him back on the team for a national title run so he could get a personal foul in the BCS Title game for kneeing an Oregon player in the head, then kick him off the team soon after for a domestic violence arrest but still allow him to come back for pro day to work out won't let this guy run offensive line drills.

Notice last year they did not even worry about that "High School Coach". Now he is in the heads 24/7. Amazing what has happened in one year.
