We all know the UF/FSU, UGA/GT, USC/Clem, Lou/Kty, Wake/Vandy games are every year but I've now heard talk about this on the radio and saw it online.

Apparently the ACC is considering reaching out to the SEC about the whole conference having these games. I don't think the SEC would ever go for it but I'd be down for it if they did.

My first choice would be 9 game in conference scheduling but this would be a decent alternative. Esp if LSU got ND, VT, Miami, UNC, or UVA. The only teams I really wouldn't want would be Syracuse or BC.

Here's a hypothetical for the remainder of the games:

Tenn vs VT
LSU vs UVA
Bama vs Miami
Ark vs BC
Auburn vs NC st
atm vs duke
mizz vs syr
Ms St vs pitt
Ole Miss vs Notre Dame*

*Notre Dame could rotate since they aren't full fledged members?

What say you rantards????

That sounds horrible. I don't want a regular game with Syracuse. How about the teams with existing rivalries or natural rivalries that haven't budded yet agree to play those teams on a case by case basis. We don't need some stupid agreement where Missouri is playing freaking Syracuse on a regular basis. No thanks.

Auburn has a lot of history with GaTech as well as Clemson and FSU... Hell pretty much everyone in the ACC except NCState

Try not to look at the match ups I just made up on the spot, they don't mean anything. That's not really what I was asking.

Is this something you could get behind in general?

I would like this.

But I really like playing the Notre Dames, Miamis, Oklahomas, USCs, etc of the world in OOC as we currently do and this would likely compromise that.

I got behind it in the thread about this a couple days ago. LINK

I want Virginia Tech since they are the only other senior military college in FBS.

Of course, permanent opponents would leave some here butthurt so some sort of rotation for the schools w/o current yearly rivalries would make it a little more fair.

Also, y'all can go ahead and stop putting Notre Dame in this b/c they aren't really an ACC football team.

Makes sense if the sec and acc don't want to go to a 9 game schedule. The 4 big rivals, UF/FSU, SC/Clem, UGa/Tech, UK/Lville would be permanent with the 10 other sec and acc rotating for the 9th game. I can see why the 4 big rivals don't want a 9th conference game since they would than have to play game 10 against their big rival. Also, the acc has a deal with ND to play 5 games per year, so that's game 11. Than you got the fact a 9 game conference schedule is unfair because some school's get 5 home games.

Would not mind a game at ND/UNC/Va Tech/Boston College(just cause its Boston)

All others are very blah...

Rather have the 9 game SEC schedule.

i want it like this
4 OOC per year
1 ACC
1 B1G
1 XII
1 PAC

I want games.
Randomize it, pick em out of a hat, IDC im tired of seeing top-tier teams slaughtering these small schools... boosting numbers... Im tired of hearing tOSU, ND, Oregon... talk so much trash because it takes an act of god to schedule their scary arses

No thanks.

If Slive still has his eyes on expansion why prop up the (likely) donor conference?

As long as it's not Clemson, I'm good with it. Tired of playing them.

The last thing that Notre Dame wants is an SEC team on its schedule... especially Ole Miss. See 1977 when we were their only loss:

Bam will make the ACC adopt GA Southern. That will be their opponent.

LSU-Miami
Bama-ND

Those two make more sense to me.
