The Auburn loss was painful. I'm sure it was painful for the Aubs in Pasadena. Lot's of pain to go around.

Depends, if we lose the rivalry game, do we still go to the championship? If not, then I would pick losing in the NC game.

Lose in the national championship. Easily. I'd rather have a shot at a title than not.

But we get to play Auburn every year. Who knows when you will be back in another national championship.

If the SEC West was already in the bag, a loss wouldn't keep us out of the NC, and we won said NC, I would take the IB loss.

Hmmm... which would Alabama have been ridiculed more about? Losing to Auburn in that fashion or snapping the streak?

True... but we know the context of this thread is to try to bring us down to his misery for what actually happened

You're losing both games, what does it matter?

Don't try and downplay the Auburn loss.

Alabama won 3 out of the last 4 National Championships (2 in a row) and was going for a 3 peat. You have arguably the best coach of all time and a quarterback going for his third, consecutive national championship. You're playing your arch-rival in arguably the biggest rivalry in college football. The winner wins the SEC western division. And then....
