Finally ended my TA Subscription

The war with Hamm was just too much. I was even Varsity for a while during realignment, but there just isn't much point to spend money to try and get the same level of discussion that is present over here. The staff edits on TA are so heavy handed its like an Aggie N. Korea now. I have nothing personal against the TA staff but its honestly uncomfortable now.

I just take solace in the fact that everything I said about Fran and Sherman that got me banned was right on the money.
Also got banned for saying that Liucci needs to shave his goatee if he wants to be taken seriously by the adult world. I'm right about that too.

The only time I ever subscribed to their premium stuff was during that fall that A&M and Mizzou moved to the SEC.
At the time, the best news I was getting on Missouri came from a sports writer for the Kansas City Star. Chinpubes was reposting this guys twitter to the TA premium board.

Nice job. I ended my sub after he pathetically got defensive and banned somebody because his feelings were hurt. I got tired of seeing his immature replies. That, and his articles are extremely amateur. He should leave writing to a professional. And that's not a goatee, it's a chin patch! Most people quit growing them out as teenagers.

I am a subscriber too. Not varsity though. I enjoy the product and think its well worth the money. To each his own though.

Nah, I used to have a subscription when I was in school, but I didn't keep up with recruiting enough then (nor would I now) to justify continuing to pay for it. I do miss reading the articles, though.
