Or to any location, why does it always get exponentially worse the closer you get? And has anyone ever "not made it"?

I do this all the time, and each time it feels like I wouldn't have made it if it took me 5 seconds longer to drop my pants and sit down.

Holding in a normal shite isn't too bad. It's the diarrhea shits you gotta watch out for.

I have this little theory as to why it may become worse the closer you get. Do you think that psychologically your mind is saying its ok to start "getting ready" to let it fly, this making the poop that much more ready to come out as you feel that you are getting closer to your destination?

Mine is usually driving to work not home. I have about a 1/2 to 1/3 mile walk to work from my parking spot (I am an OT 2) and have had a couple of times when I was no less that a couple blocks away where I thought (gotta find an alley, this is happening now no matter what I do). It has never happened (always passed) but at some point I gotta feel Lady Luck will not be on my side.
