What do you like best about the new Auburn staff?

Besides the fact that they just lead us back from a 3-9 season and took us to the National Championship in their first year while finishing 12-2, what do you think? What we have in Gus Malzahn, Rhett Lashlee, Dameyune Craig, Ellis Johnson, Rodney Garner, Charlie Harbison, Tim Horton, JB Grimes, Melvin Smith, and Scott Fountain is special, my friends.
1) Gus Malzahn brought back some Auburn men to reflect on the players.
2) Auburn is finally recruiting the bigger guys in the secondary.
3) The defense is multiple, and very flexible with players it can be used with.
4) The recruiting is top notch, as it should be.
5) The staff is comprised of personnel that can not only recruit, but also coach.
6) The staff has brought the team back together.
7) The staff doesn't play any games when it comes to recruiting.
8) Gus Malzahn made it a point to hire high-school coaches to also help recruit (a la Nick Saban).
Feel free to add more to the list.

I don't really see a weakness yet in this staff... i never felt like we were outcoached in any of our 14 games last year. Some things didn't go our way in Baton Rouge, but the way our team bounced back and hung in was very incouraging... that's a testament to Gus and the staff.
I love that we have a head coach who is actively involved on one side of the ball... with Tuberville and Chizik, if we lost a great coordinator (like Petrino, Chizik, or Gus), it felt like we starting over from scratch. The fact that GM calls his own plays means that side of the ball will always be in good hands.
I'll also add I love the way this staff has recruited on defense... their first two class are full of defensive talent... won't be too long until we're back where we want to be on that side of the ball IMO.

Easily 6. Being lights out at both is tough to do and most on our staff are.

That Gus is actually a football coach, not a CEO.

Gus's sweater vests and Dameyune's selfies.
ETA: getting us sec's first-ever national rushing title.

1) Their Win PCT is (.857)
2) they won a conference championship in their first year
3) Gus is an offensive genius.
4) all of this happened without the NCAA sniffing around.

You covered it pretty well and others filled in any voids. I can't add anything new that has already been shared.
I will say it is nice to have such a complete confidence in the staff.

That I was happy about the hire from the very start instead of whining about it.

That the future looks bright instead of uncertain.

The fact that our defense plays with a chip on their shoulders. We haven't seen a DB/LB light somebody up since the Rosegreen/Brock/Rogers/Tray Blackmon/DT/Dansby days. Our D now plays with an edge.

Upward trajectory. Improvement every week. Inspired/drove the players to be better.

I like the physicality that's been re-established along with the never-say-die attitude. Other than that, it's way too early to say on anything else.
I do want to see this defense make a significant leap next year. Been entirely too long since we've had a good unit in all phases.

I like how EJ mixes up the defenses plays the corners up tight and brings pressure often.
