Sumlin not well liked by Metroplex HS coaches?

was reading an article in the Dallas Morning News from DFW HS coaches on recruiting.
there is some interesting info and not all of it was positive
of course there was some positive info too

The DMN has always been pro tu so I don't put much stock in what they have to say about A&M

Didn't go check actual facts, but I feel like we're doing very well in Houston, East Texas, & picking up steam in LA. I don't think we quite dominate DFW yet.

No joke. The day after NSD they stick A&M's results in the middle of the paper along with somebody else (I think OK State). t.u. gets the entire back page.

While it creates discussion, it's not a very interesting survey. They interviewed 12 coaches. If you look at the 1st question (the one I assume the thread title is based upon)
If UNT is alone in first and we say 3 coaches voted for them. And SMU/Kansas each got 2. That's 7 of 12. The last group therefore each got 1 vote. It's a horrible survey that gives a positive or negative view with a sample size of one. Completely useless tbh

Yep just the DMN showing A&M in a negitive light. That's their SOP find something meaningless and blow it out of proportion to show how backward and stupid A&M is. Y'all need to remember this is the paper that had Skip Bayless on staff as a feature sports writer.

I would like to see the names of the coaches who were involved in the survey and their college affiliation.
This sounds like one really butthurt coach who will probably take every opportunity he can to throw shite at A&M.

i think the rest of Sumlin's recruiting speaks more volumes than an article in the DMN.
I've seen them put more page time to tU winning vs. Iowa State than a huge TAMU upset.
